"Lord," another of His disciples said, "first let me go bury my father." - Matthew 8:21
Often our struggle as Christians is not in deciding whether we should obey Christ but in obeying immediately. Most of the time with our busy lives, we often put off things we know we need to do because of other things or commitments that may come up unexpectedly. Instead of taking care of those things we are asked to do right then, we put it off and say "I'll just do it another day." This is fine as long as you make a plan to get it done and not put it off indefinitely. When God commands us to do something he wants us to do, we need to respond to that command immediately instead of ignoring God's direction and putting it off for later. No matter how busy you may be, always try to get God's commands done immediately and He will give you what your praying for. Don't forget though, God's ways are not our ways and our ways are not God's ways. Thank you and God Bless!
