Episode 12: Struggling to Create a Daily Meditation Practice? Try out Float Therapy First!

Listen Later

Today's episode is part one of a two part series where we sit down with co-founder of Freeze & Float spa, Karolina Stojanovic. Part one dives into Float Therapy and Infrared Saunas, while next week we will hear more about Cryotherapy. Karolina tells us about her experience as a Pharmacist, where she discovered that alternative methods helped to supplement the medications she was filling for her patients. When she personally found the benefits of the modalities herself but struggled to get time in the few spas that existed in Chicago, her and her husband embarked on the journey of starting their own. We learn that floating helps with stress, anxiety, and relaxation. We also learn about infrared saunas and their detoxifying elements. In the "You Want Me To Do What??" section, Nicole raves about her experience floating, while Shanna found that the third time was a charm for her.
