Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus is an important condition encountered in a Primary Care Setting as it affects 400,000 people in the UK and makes up 95% of Diabetes diagnoses in children. In today's episode, one of our Education Officers Jane Bailie discusses the pathology, presentation, diagnosis and management of Type 1 Diabetes from the perspective of a Medical Student.
