You wouldn’t expect that after being trained to bartend by Steve that anyone could ever make it very far in this industry, but our long-time friend Jill persevered! With Negroni in hand, Jill takes us through The Gauntlet employing what she’s learned on her journey from baby server to bar manager.
White Negroni:
· 1.5 ounces gin
· 1 ounce Lillet blanc aperitif
· .5 ounce Suze gentian liqueur
· Garnish: lemon twist
1. Add the gin, Lillet Blanc and Suze into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
