In this episode, Jeff Wallace shares his story on his transition from the local church he served for 25 years, to his role at Student Leadership University, and the 7 important things he learned about how to transition well:

1. Don’t pray in a silo, bring people you trust into the process
2. Lean into your calling and push against staying comfortable
3. It’s always “fit” before “finances”
4. When interviewing, always ask intentional short-term and long-term questions
5. Make sure you have key leaders and mentors you trust to speak into your transition
6. Be careful when talking to previous team members. Everyone’s experience is different
7. End well! Don’t ever burn bridges. You never know when you will need to cross it again
