This time of year it’s important to pause and be thankful.

In 2020 that might be more important than ever. Thanksgiving will look very different this year for so many families across the country and here in St. Louis.

We invited some of our past guests of the Meet St. Louis podcast to share what they’re grateful for this year and how they’re altering their holiday traditions.

David Weglarz, owner of Still630 says while the pandemic has been challenging for their craft distilling business, it’s also brought unexpected blessings, including a forced slow down and time with family.

It was a similar answer for Loryn Nalic, chef and owner of Balkan Treat Box. As a restaurant owner, 2020 has brought challenge after challenge, but this year also brought some incredible accolades including being named one of the Best New Restaurants in America by Esquire magazine. For Loryn the honor is humbling, as is the continued support from the community who has shown up week after week to order their amazing food via curbside.
