There is lot of confusion about the anointing of the Holy Spirit and its function in the life of a Christian believer. Only the Bible teaches us clearly about it and not anyone else. The anointing is given to every believer in Christ to lead them into all truth and to enable them to serve God like Christ Jesus Himself. The anointing will make them to discern the truth from the error and also to be committed to their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The anointing is not an emotional experience but a devotional empowerment. The anointing of the Holy Spirit will not contradict the clear teaching of the Holy Bible. All extra biblical and ultra charismatic experiences must be rejected outrightly. May the Lord help us to be anointed for His glory. Amen. SDG.
