Darren Weale welcomes back to the Bromley Buzz Councillors Alison Stammers and Mike Jack, this time catching up in the Marlborough Bakery in Chislehurst. They appeared previously when they were running to be Councillors, in episode 52.

We hear about their day to day work as Councillors, along with Cllr Mark Smith, the power and frustrations of a Councillor, local events and the value of volunteers. 

Chislehurst as a community and its carved bears are discussed, along with local sports and wellness activities, and Mike shares publicly for the first time a sporting day for 2024 being held in conjunction with Chislehurst Lawn Tennis Club that will appear in due course on the Visit Chislehurst website.
