Today I’m flying solo and getting very personal about my weight loss journey. I’ve mentioned several times on the show (and especially on episode 112) that I have really committed to making my own self care, mental health, and general health a priority. Losing weight has been a big part of that. As someone who has DEFINITELY had my fair share of weight struggles, it feels really good to be (over!) 30lbs down and still losing. I wasn’t sure how much of this I’d share on the podcast but after opening up about it a little, I got an overwhelming response from so many of you who can relate to weight/body image issues. Today I’m sharing how got to this point, how I’ve lost the weight without counting calories, and how my whole mindset has really shifted. Just a quick disclaimer: I am not selling anything or advertising a particular diet/program- this is all just my own take on my own weight loss! I’m also talking about how the lessons I’ve learned from being an autism parent have really helped me during this weight loss journey. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone in this community who has been so supportive- you guys have honestly been the best cheerleaders! I hope you enjoy listening to this episode!
