His response was “who just signed his own death warrant” mixed in with a few other choice words. Uriah (Bathsheba’s husband) was handed his own death warrant by King David after he committed adultery with her and got her pregnant. Many today are walking around with their own death warrants, but unlike Uriah who didn’t know what was in his hand; multitudes know, and willingly deny and reject a way out of the death warrant they were given at birth.
