Valentine's Day is over, and it's time to look at the darker side of love and murder.

Debi and Howie Whitlock's marriage was hitting a rocky patch. Howie's drinking was getting out of hand, and Debi had left and started a relationship with another man, but after some time apart, they were trying to get things right. Just as it seemed all was well, Debi was brutally murdered. It'd take nine years and the tireless efforts of her mother to find her killer.
