In Week 8 action the Lions pulled off a 31-26 win over the New York Giants. This week the Lions travel to Oakland for the final time (for at least a while) where they will face off against Jon Gruden and his 3-4 Raiders. Erik and Joe think the Lions will have a definite advantage in the passing game.

  • CB (not deceased pop star) Michael Jackson signed off the Dallas practice squad, RB Paul Perkins was released subsequently, and OL Casey Tucker was signed to the empty spot on the practice squad

  • TE Darren Waller is the latest of high-end TEs the Lions have faced
  • A couple of familiar faces will be all over the field for the Raiders defense ex-Lions Tahir Whitehead and Nevin Lawson are on their active roster
