On the evening of August 20, 1989, José and Kitty Menendez were viciously murdered in their Beverly Hills mansion. Their sons, Lyle and Erik, who called 911 after the murders, initially appeared as grief-stricken victims. However, in the months that followed, their behavior began to raise suspicions.
