They then explain why she is so important to the story of our Lord Jesus, even having a place in confessional and creedal language. Given Mary was the vessel whom God used to conceive, birth, and raise His Son, they discuss how her role in the Biblical account help us understand such doctrines as original sin, Christ’s sinless nature, and His priesthood on our behalf.
