His relative was the catalyst for legislation adopting the 1918 Migratory Bird Treaty Act, which has saved millions of birds. The book is called  "A Connecticut Yankee Goes to Washington, George P. McLean, Birdman of the Senate," The author is Will Greely and he's Someone You Should Know.
