Lincoln Project Chief of Staff Ryan Wiggins discusses what she learned from the 2022 election results."Trump was a symptom of the political movement," Wiggins said. "He was not the political movement. And I think in a lot of ways that political movement has outgrown Donald Trump. And so, I mean, you're going to  see this continue to play out with these far right-leaning people."She added, "I think the midterm said this--'we want to move back more to the middle.' I don't think that this was a referendum that said America wants to move left, or America wants to move into the progressive space. I think what it said was we are more moderate than this extremism."
