In case you missed it in our last session, with victory imminent, plans began to be made for how to triage the aftermath; however, Fisvénir realized he had a message pending on his sending stone. It was Melbim. The Battle of Nerhtan was a diversion and Rejlaz Rhekōlb had been attacked, assailed by many Zōrheg and Kisstyral. But, the assault was repelled, though at great cost. The king survived and was calling his army back to the capital for he knew they would not survive another incursion. Fisvénir understood the assignment and formulated cogent orders in spite of his internal turmoil: arcane healers and professional soldiers leave at dawn by sea; everyone else cleanse the city.Meanwhile, Bjōlan met the Kjōrbaj, Ahnen, a Fahnril of particular character. Ahnen held significantly more knowledge of the runes and Zōrheg, seemingly too much knowledge for the boys to handle in a single sitting. Their conversation left more questions than answers as Rejlaz Rhekōlb crept over the horizon, an uneasy quiet hanging over the city, punctuated by hammers and saws, masonry and carpentry. And with that, you’re caught up for today’s episode of Umbalin & Oblivion.
