Dr. Patrick Lowery, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice in the Wilder School at VCU, Virginia Commonwealth University. His research focuses primarily on socio-legal studies and the intersection of race and poverty in the juvenile justice system. Lowery earned a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2016.
