My name is Emily
In 2018, Emily Piché,RVT, CHPT, CPEP, helped a Veterinarian start up and develop one of Canada’s first Veterinary Hospice Centres. During her time there she held the roles of Lead RVT and eventually the role of Assistant Medical Director. In 2021 she had the honour of becoming one of the first RVTs in Canada to regularly provide in-home end-of-life care to patients under the Indirect Supervision of a Veterinarian. Since then she has helped thousands of families say goodbye to their beloved pets in a peaceful and compassionate way. Using this knowledge and experience, she has pioneered the world's first End-of-Life Care training program tailored to Registered Veterinary Technicians. Her goal is to help increase access to care by bridging the learning gap and modernizing how Registered Veterinary Technicians are utilized in End-of-Life Care.
