Join us for a Curio field trip to the old Griffith Park Zoo. Get a taste for Southern California's freeway culture as drivers swerve near us, staring at their phones. Yay! The zoo itself was opened in 1912 and closed in 1966 when the new LA Zoo was complete. Our addled imaginations declared it haunted, although we didn't see any ghost giraffes.
