We stan Dr. Devin, PhD. She's a proud Prince George's County native, a confident Black woman changing the face of STEM, and an essential part of my tribe. A flourishing analytical chemist, Devin doesn't believe in watering herself down for the sake of others' comfortability levels. She unapologetically takes up space & professionally shakes the table to let people know that Black women aren't always supposed to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders (even though we carry it well). With her well-structured, respectable opinions, she utilizes the power of her platform to make it known that Black women must be represented & heard in her field.
