Bríd had quite the rollercoaster start in Australia; two-week's hotel quarantine, travelling with the Giants into a number of "hubs" across the country and then unfortunately sustaining an injury that ruled her out of her debut AFLW season.
Nevertheless, Bríd remained the ultimate professional she is, persisting through her rehab and recovery to get back into non-contact training and eventually moving into a mentor role for the younger players at the club.
