WARNING: There are discussions in this podcast that some listeners may find distressing.
This week's guest has had some serious struggles in her life. Between her father being murdered during the conflict in Northern Ireland, to losing two of her sons. One, sadly, to suicide.
Josephine Mcateer started her own charity to help those experiencing grief and mental health problems, which ran for 14 years until lack of funding and volunteers unfortunately drove them to close. Something she is still choked up about to this day.
We have a raw conversation where you can hear the pain in her voice as she talks about her son, the lack of funding for mental health services and gives advice to anyone else in her position.
