In 2008, EDS – Electronic Data Systems sold their infrastructure, applications, and business process business to Hewlett Packard for fifteen and a half Billion dollars. In 2019, Tableau – sold their data visualisation software business to Salesforce for over fifteen and a half Billion dollars. However, business exits do not always go to plan.
