Today we talked with Sarah Popviker. After giving birth to four boys without a birth companion, she had an eye opening experience when her fifth son was born with continuous and comforting support throughout her labor. She realized that many women miss out on having a special, positive birthing experience because they don’t have a Doula by their side. Inspired by the impact that a Doula can make, she pursued and enrolled with Childbirth International and obtained certification as a Labor Doula. She has since certified in the Gena Kirby Rebozo Method, became a Certified Aromatherapist in 2016, and obtained her Herbalist Certification in 2017 through Heart of Herbs Herbal School.
