In today's episode, I discuss what felt like the lowest point of my career to date. Why are we sharing this on a "pep talk?" Well, it is because I hope that others out there who are experiencing burn out, or who have experienced burn out, understand that they are not alone. There is hope, there are resources, and there are ways to see a light in this.
From days where I felt I couldn't go into the dancing space, to days where I began picturing my life without dance, I go into all of it! But, the best part of this story is that I came out of this stronger, more inspired, more enlightened, and more connected than I have ever been in life. I am a way better teacher because of all of this. I have a completely new outlook on dance and teaching dance, and I look back and feel a strange sense of gratitude that I went through what I did.
Thank you all for your love and support, especially during an episode that may not seem like our "peppiest."
