In today's episode, we discuss the importance of the order at which you perform exercises in a singular training session. Whether you are a coach/trainer/practitioner writing and prescribing a program to someone, or you are on the receiving end of the program, it’s important to understand how the sequence of events will directly impact the stimulus applied on the body. I like to use the GAS TANK analogy, so I use that in explaining why the order of events matters.
One thing that’s very important to keep in mind when consuming or sharing information in regards to programming is that there are many different ways to get to the same outcome, and context is very important. This allows you to view things with some perspective and understand that it might be different for the individuals you work with, or it might look different to you following the plan. It is always important to be able to explain and understand the WHY behind a program!
Because you’re a listener of CHALK TALK, I’m extending the BLACK FRIDAY Promos for the School of TRAINING2XL.
