If we approach this idea of personal development from a non-Biblical perspective, we can fall into the trap that we alone have the power to improve ourselves.
We know, based on scripture, that assumption is false; Jeremiah 10:23 "I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps."
So doe this mean we, as Christian men, should avoid personal development? But not means! As discussed in several episodes, we are called to lead ourselves. If we are not improving, growing, and filling our cup, we will not have what we need to lead in our family or our mission.
So let's explore three ways we can grow, develop and lead ourselves.
