Ruel Mannette is a graduate student at the University of Hawaii, pursuing a doctorate in philosophy. His philosophical interests range from Structuralism and French philosophy to religious studies, bioethics, and eastern philosophy. We discussed memory and how it relates to authenticity and alienation, and we analyzed the many ways that language affects the way we see and interact with the world.
