In this episode, James and I discuss ONE THING that shaped our lives with Kristofer Seppala (longtime friend and collaborator). For Kristofer, living in Finland and Switzerland for the first seven years of his life has shaped his perspective of culture and ways of living in many ways. He delves deep into his love for film and his perspective on classic cinema in relation to how a lot of Americans in our film school were not aware of those films that he grew up on. His acceptance and understanding of the American public school system even took time to curate with a little bit of culture shock at play. We talk about how social interactions and customs can vary country to country, and specifically in a country like the United States that is a melting pot for multiple races, cultures, and subcultures. This was a great conversation!
