Back in the day, things were much simpler. Weekends basically revolved around the video store. Families would gather and watch new releases and friends would hunker down in each other's basements to watch what would become our generation's cult classics, usually unbeknownst to our parents. New releases were an event, old favorites were battled over, and new favorites were discovered on a weekly basis. The video store was the place to be, and then...... Netflix happened.
