Episode 13: What is love...

Listen Later

Have you experienced the unconditional love of Yahweh? What is the foundation of the love you have come to know, and what is your perspective on love. I really wanted to cover a lot of these questions in this episode, I know not every single person will agree, or take something away from this episode. But in my experience and some of the circumstances I have been through, Love is truly important, but it can be widely misinterpreted if you haven't experienced unconditional love.
A little more about why I wanted to do this episode.
In relationship it is very difficult to love another person, and also love yourself. If you have never experienced the love that Yahweh provides. Our immediate context and foundation of love, is foundational or circumstantial, or in other words human love (conditional vs radial love, what Jesus did on the cross)
In my opinion, I believe this is one of the biggest reasons, divorce and separation occurs. Because if your understanding of love is circumstantial, you will love only when you feel loved, and the love you show only occurs, when everything is good. But the second something goes wrong, your ready and willing to bust the walls, of the relationship down. Walk away and start "fresh".
But perfect people do not enter the union of marriage, and they sure don't enter it in relationship.
The reason why experiencing God's love should be, our main priority is because, without the correct context, your idea of love, l will be incorrect.
Because while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This did not occur after we were perfect, after we had it altogether. The death of Jesus happened, while we were still caught in the snare of our sin.
Trust me if you want a relationship that last 40, 50, 60 years. You shouldn't of definitely figure out, if Journeying with Yahweh is something you should consider.
