During the Sabai Webinar Series 13, hosted by the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc), Environmental Specialist, Mr Sa Aung Thet Oo, Environmental Advocate Ms Amara, and Ms Naychi Thel Kyaw Tun, YSEALI WLA Country Lead I was engaged in a discussion on Why Waste Segregation Matters for Future.

They emphasise its significance for our planet and future generations.

Environmental sustainability is an urgent global concern, necessitating effective waste management strategies. Waste segregation is a fundamental step to minimise environmental impact and conserve resources by facilitating recycling processes and resource recovery for varous materials such as plastic, glass, electronic devices, paper, and organics.

🌐 ယခုစပါယ်စကားဝိုင်းအပတ်စဥ် ၁၂ တွင် ယနေ့ကမ္ဘာကြီးတွင် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင် တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲရေးသည် အရေးတကြီး စိုးရိမ်စရာဖြစ်လာပြီး ထိရောက်သော အမှိုက်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုဗျူဟာများ လိုအပ်လျှက်ရှိကြောင်းနှင့် ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုရန်အတွက် စွန့်ပစ်ပစ္စည်းများကို ခွဲခြားစွန့်ပစ်ခြင်းသည် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ထိခိုက်မှု အနည်းဆုံးဖြစ်စေရန်နှင့် အရင်းအမြစ်များကို ထိန်းသိမ်းရန် အခြေခံကျသော ခြေလှမ်းတစ်ရပ်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း နှင့် စပ်လျဥ်းပြီး ဆွေးနွေးတင်ပြခဲ့ကြတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

🌱 ပလတ်စတစ်၊ ဖန်ထည်၊ အီလက်ထရွန်နစ်ပစ္စည်းများ၊ စက္ကူနှင့် အော်ဂဲနစ်ကဲ့သို့သော အမှိုက်အမျိုးအစားများကို ခွဲခြားစွန့်ပစ်ခြင်းဖြင့်၊ လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းများအတွက် ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုခြင်းလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကို ချောမွေ့စေပြီး သယံဇာတပစ္စည်းများ ပြန်လည်ထုတ်ယူသုံးစွဲခြင်းကို လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ပါသည်။
