Jesus helps us put the importance of the knowledge of the Names of God in proper perspective. He taught us how we should begin our prayers in Matthew 6:9 Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.
God's Name is to be hallowed (kept holy - sanctify, or set apart). His name (s) are to be consecrated, not just in our head but in our heart as we walk out our lives in loving, Spirit filled/enabled obedience! God's Great and Glorious Names are how we are to begin our prayers, and release our cries for assistance!
