I meet up with Ace Boon, one of Oakland's own stand-up comics on the rise. I sat down with Boon at La Estrellita, where he hosts his comedy show, F'larious Friday's, on the last Friday of every month.

Boon is a student of comedy, and we discuss the importance of studying and appreciating the art. We talk about how Boon's barber actually got him his first stand-up show, and making your set "unstealable" by using your own experiences.
