Today on the podcast I am joined by Emma and Fionn on the band Shayatin!

Shayatin formed from the discontinued alt-rock band Late Night Pharmacy, who previously were awarded funding as part of the Department of Culture’s Music Industry Stimulus Package. It is the first band to feature local singer-songwriter Emma Lohan, whose strident, powerful lead vocals lend palpable emotion to the instrumentals.

In this episode I’ll be chatting to Fionn and Emma about the band’s  brilliant debut EP, ‘Yakub’s Ladder’, which was released in November and is an incredible trio of songs that is sure, which to captivate audiences with its fierce post-hardcore sound, thought-provoking lyrics and all-encompassing atmosphere.
