Reverend Shelley McVea celebrates the story of Palm Sunday by reading the Gospel of Mark 11:1-11 when Jesus rides on the back of a borrowed donkey, to cheers of “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.” What does it mean for a king to make an entrance like this, knowing that he was prepared for the passion that waits for him in the days to come?
