Welcome to Farming the Depths of Eternal, a podcast all about brewing, where each episode we chose a card and brew some decks around it. This week we have Imestr8 on to talk about Vara, Death's Master--or do we? This is the problem with combo podcasters. I sit down to the table ready to record a regular old podcast with my normal show notes and interaction. I have my decks. I'm ready for anything, I think. But then, it turns out to be a combo podcast. None of my normal interaction matters in this match up. The whole episode becomes about the combo. I don't have any say on whether I win or lose or how long it goes. Does the main topic I put in the show notes matter in a combo episode? No. It's all up to the combo podcaster. All I can do is sit and listen and wonder if they have it or not.
