2. In Prayer (unity)

3. Not long – Acts 1-5 – God’s timing

5. Distractions Abound – v6-7

a. Wrong power

b. Wrong mission – conquer Rome; Establish the kingdom of Israel

c. Wrong timing – now?

d. Wrong authority – their idea

6. Focus is Critical – v8

a. The Holy Spirit IS the Promise

b. God the Spirit i. Come upon; baptized with; clothed with

c. The Holy Spirit provides the POWER

d. Witnessing Everywhere is the Assignment

e. Waiting for God’s timing is Crucial i. He puts the GO in the Gospel

7. All is Going according to Plan – v9-11

a. The plan is far bigger than imagined

b. The plan culminates in His return

8. Follow the Plan – v 12-14

a. Wait Together i. In Worship ii. In Prayer iii. For God’s Promise, Timing, & Power iv. Then, GO!

1. Witness from where you are

2. To where you will GO!

9. The Spirit will put the GO in the Gospel
