When a celebrity announces that he or she has become a Christian immediately the whole Christendom goes gaga over the news! Then they will run after them and pamper them by putting them on the pedastal. Many so called celebrity converts have ended up in gross sin and scandals bringing shame to the name of God in the past. The right thing to do is to examine their faith as per the Scriptures and mentor them to becoma the disciples of Christ. If they are genuine believers then the Lord will gradually begin to use them for His glory and others good. We should not think that they will bring souls into the Kingdom of God by their Charisma or celebrity status. Salvation of sinners is always through the Word of God and the Spirit of God. No man or woman has any part in it. Pray for those and treat them as the children of God like any other. May God grant us such discernment in these deceitful times. Amen. SDG.
