Before my study for this episode, I had never really considered how King Herod may have felt during the birth of Christ. 

Sure, like everyone, I had known that Herod felt threatened by Christ's birth - that He he was a threat to his power, but as I studied this time, I realized there is much more we can learn from Herod and his experience within the nativity story.
