In Minnesota, on June 1st, many businesses are able to reopen during the Covid-19 Quarantine, Safe at Home plan.

Hair salon, restaurants, etc.  – but not without plans in place to keep the employees and customers safe.

Adeline Wright joined us in March as Covid first “began” and called us to action. We check back in on her as she prepares, with many changes in operation, for her hair salon to open back up.  

What are the steps Adeline is taking to keep her, her staff

and her customers safe?

Lightening the customer load… and by nature – the salon

income, that comes along with the extra work, extra cleaning and limited

clients allowed in her shop.

Her truth echoes many other’s with concerns about how to

financially operate at less than 50% of usual business. How will this effect

small business in communities? 

Not to mention the tension in what feels, at times, to be a harsh divide of folks who take the concern of the virus seriously and, others who actively operate against those trying to follow guidelines to stay safe.  

Adeline is thinking about the client experience… her plans to keep customer’s down time engaging and fun as she holds awareness that limiting conversation is a measure of safety.
