Dave Thomas, writer, director, actor, producer, legend!! From SCTV to Hollywood, the Grammys, The Emmys not to mention Juno awards. Dave Thomas has spent the better part of 6 decades bringing joy and laughter to generations of comedy fans, from classic characters like Doug McKenzie, and his uncanny Bob Hope impression (which led to a wonderful relationship with the real Bob Hope) to being in classic films like Stripes, Strange Brew  and Rat Race, and that just scratches the surface of his incredible career.

Today we discuss everything from his childhood, his pre showbiz remarkable career , his friends, and even how a "couple of hosers" got to direct one of the greatest actors of all time,  Max Von Sydow( and what happens when you are caught doing an impression of him!)

Dave was so kind and generous with his time it helps kill that myth of "never meet your heroes" Because meeting this hero was a dream come true and a truly happy memory I will carry the rest of my life.
