I’m in Scotland! Today’s episode features dancer and Choreographer Laurence Lemieux. As well as being the founder and artistic director of Citadel + Compagnie, the World Premiere of her new solo work – Love me out of it – will run from October 11-13 and 17-20 at The Citadel: Ross Centre For Dance. All the pieces in her work are danced to a song from Canadian punk band Teenage Head’s classic 1980 platinum-selling album Frantic City. After each performance, a different local punk band will play a free show. Teenage head themselves will play at a special event after the October 13 performance.
