Marty Anderson was born and raised in Prince George, and has raised a family of four daughters in this wonderful community. After a 30 year career in forestry and construction, Marty moved over to radio (Vista Radio – 94.3 The Goat and Country 97FM) and has recently "semi-retired" to focus on his writing and the family dog business.

Marty is also an author. Taking a usually humorous look at some of life’s trials and tribulations on his blog, "The Involved Husband" Marty’s stories have been enjoyed in over 50 countries around the world.

More recently, an online dare made Marty try out songwriting and - in partnership with Prince George Country legend, Rick Stavely - they have their first single inside the top 10 on the Canadian Indie Countdown chart. Marty studied at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is also the author of the MOUNTAIN SLEDDER MAGAZINE.
