As the skies darken outside their windows, they begin by first defining what the intermediate state is. With the winds picking up, they then confirm that we are to learn about our post-death, pre-resurrection existence from the Scriptures, not from books like Heaven is for Real. As the lightning flashes, they recount the different places in Scriptures where Christ speaks of this state and where those in the intermediate state make an appearance. With storms all around, they finish by reminding each other that the intermediate state is perfect but not complete.
