Well those halcyon days ended today by the appearance of Jennifer Aniston on the cover of `WSJ Sunday supplement. Mark Twain once famously remarked “a newspaper is 50% black stuff meeting 50% white stuff…” In the case of WSJ’s magazine, it’s 50% glamorous glossy ads meeting 50% content. No wonder the Times is trembling in its new headquarters, it’s a bitter pill to wake up one day to find yourself number two.
