"Bitcoin Pizza Day" is Thursday 22 May, marking the anniversary of the first real-world Bitcoin transaction in 2010, when programmer Laszlo Hanyecz famously spent 10,000 BTC (yes, really!) on two pizzas, highlighting BTC's first step into everyday commerce.
