The aim of the life giving grace of God in the Kingdom of God is so that we can be perfect like God is perfect. That is what Jesus is telling us in this passage from the Sermon on the Mount. It is here that He draws a clear line and boundary between the manifesto of the Kingdom of God and the message of religion.
