Zubair Quraishi talks to Demian Klenk and Dan Hutter of 6C Index, a new platform aiming to be the Nasdaq of Environmental Assets. Initially they are just focusing on Carbon Assets, and intend to link real world Carbon Production to digital assets on the blockchain, with a twist. They want to not only link Carbon Production but also "Carbon Removal" as an asset. This means that there will be a healthy incentive to not only pollute the environment, but to clean it up as well.
This is a space which has recently started to gain attention since Adam Neuman, the founder of WeWork, recently announced that his latest startup, FlowCarbon is attempting a similar mission, but Demian and Dan believe that they are uniquely positioned to solve this problem since they have a background in finance, crypto, and the ESG industries.
